Android Embedded System for Multimedia Application This project is conducting the methodology to embed Android version 2.1 operating system into TITM OMAP3530 hardware platform. Therefore this method can be used to develop android-based product such as Set-box, mobile phone and TV device. By combining Digital Video SDK into Android Linux Kernel will produce a DVSDK/Android platform that has some advantages compared to original platform. To provide end user a high quality Digital content service, a multimedia server is implemented in Android application. Moreover in this project power saving mechanism is also achieved. The system realizes Android power mechanism on Power Management Multi-Channel IC (PMIC) of TI OMAP3530.PMIC combines Android power management mechanism and it can reduce power consumption of system and extends embedded device standby time.
